C. Porter

Dr. Kreiser's impact on me has been far greater than any testimony can possibly display. She taught me how to learn and how to teach, and supported me during stressful moments in graduate school. Perhaps most importantly, Dr. Kreiser helped me learn how to find my voice. I learned how to communicate with my peers and supervisors. I learned how to successfully nagivate challenging conversations. I learned how to advocate for myself personally and professionally. I learned how to look at my own communication style and constantly try to become a better version of myself. I am certain that Dr. Kreiser had a large role in shaping me to become the person that I am today. I do not doubt for one second that I am alone in that sentiment.

"I am extremely grateful that I participated in the Mediation Program which gave me the opportunity to meet Dr. Kreiser! Dr. Kreiser is such a wonderful professor, who cares deeply about her students, and it is an amazing feeling to be able to look up to someone who exemplifies the many qualities that make a strong, and powerful woman and educator.

Thank you, Dr. Kreiser, for all you have done over the course of this past semester. I understand that it could not have been easy for you but you made it as smooth as possible and it was a great relief to me and my fellow peers. I have learned so much from our time together and I am excited to apply my newfound knowledge to my future endeavors.

Thank you for everything!"

“I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from Dr. Kreiser. She is one of a kind and her lectures in conflict resolution have been such supportive tools for my personal life! I can't thank Dr. Kreiser enough for all the gold nuggets I gained from her instruction and her witty jokes which often put a smile on my face. It seemed impossible to think college students could be alive, alert, and attentive for 8 am class but she has mastered it!”

“Thank you, Dr. Kreiser, for creating a positive environment in our zoom meetings amidst COVID19 and for choosing a career you love.”

Peer Mentor

“She is the definition of a support system. Every day I see her, there is a smile on her face. She radiates positively and love for all those in her presence. Her dedication to her students is remarkable. Whether it is in her class, her office hours or over the internet, she devotes countless hours to her students to ensure their success. Dr. Kreiser is someone who actually cares about her students, and it truly shows."

Dr. Kreiser’s Conflict Resolution class was my very first class at CSULB and looking back has made me realize how much I have grown - and she’s part of the reason why. Her encouragement helped me grow and the fact that she believed in me made me believe in myself so much more. In my life I haven’t had a lot of people believe in me and encourage me. I am grateful for Dr. Kreiser’s support. It means so much to me.

Dr. Kreiser encouraged me to become a peer mentor and while I was already considering it - it was her encouragement that made me truly believe that I could do it! Being a peer mentor has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my college journey and it has been life-changing! Thank you, Dr. Kreiser, for encouraging me throughout my time at CSULB! I have enjoyed my time here so much and you are a part of the reason why!
